January is School Board Recognition Month. The Board of Education recognized our board members at the January board meeting for the work they do in helping our district move forward. Our board members are responsible for making decisions aimed at ensuring that every child in our district has a chance to succeed in school and in life. They also demonstrate well our January competency, Creative Problem-Solver, from our Profile of a Learner. They are critical thinkers who inquire and reason to design solutions and develop innovative ideas.
Each member was presented a certificate of appreciation by Assistant Superintendent Matt Perkins along with a mug which had our logo inscribed by our high school tech wing and filled with sweet treats from our high school culinary class.
