Drivers Permit Info
In order for a child to receive his/her drivers permit in the state of Kentucky, the school has to give them a letter stating they are in compliance. No form is needed for their intermediate from the school.
To be compliant:
PUBLIC SCHOOL CERTIFICATION:
Kentucky public school personnel should verify that this student is in compliance with KRS 159.051 (i.e., a 16 or 17 year old student shall be deemed compliant, if he/she has LESS than 9 unexcused absences and has passed 4 of 6 courses, or the equivalent, in the preceding semester.
NO PASS/NO DRIVE FOR PERMIT

The Kentucky Safe Driver course, Alive at 25 , that was normally offered at West campus occasionally in the evenings will now be offered virtually. Students can register by going to www.kentuckysafedriver.com and clicking on “Alive at 25” under “Courses” or by calling the office at 502-699-2995.
