The Book Fair will be open for after school shopping tomorrow (Wednesday the 26th) from 2:30 - 4:00. Thanks to all for supporting our school's book fair this week.

4th and 5th Grade Parents: No cell phones at the dance tonight. For arrival, parents park in the parking lots and walk their student to the front doors. For dismissal, parents park in the parking lots and come to the front doors of the building. Students will be called out and meet you under the front awning.

Spring has sprung at MSES and our spring Book Fair will be open Wednesday afternoon, April 26th, from 2:30-4:00 for any families that would like to come and shop with your child. We are looking forward to a wonderful bookfair..

MSES PTO Announcement: If your child sold Bundt Cakes, items can be picked up TODAY (Wednesday April 19th) from 3-5:30 in the front of the school! We want to thank all of our students and families for supporting the MSES PTO.

Pajama Day Friday at MSES! Please help our Jr. Beta Club raise funds for Ronald McDonald House by wearing PJ's and bringing a dollar to school tomorrow.

TOMORROW, March 17th, is the last day to order a yearbook for your child! Please be sure to send a check or cash to school tomorrow or order online using a credit card at www.balfour.com. Since some families get paid on Friday, we will accept last minute orders Monday morning, March 20th, if you want a yearbook. Please be sure that all orders are sent in or placed online by Monday morning.

Attention families with children starting Kindergarten this coming school year: Muhlenberg County Schools will hold open registration at each of the elementary schools March 20-24. Please contact the school your child will be attending as soon as possible to set up an appointment to register. Due to heavy wind and thunderstorms moving our way, all Muhlenberg County Schools will be closed today, March 3. This will be NTI Day #5. Students should have NTI packets and/or instructions. Teachers will be reaching out to students in case any help is needed.

5th grade students at Muhlenberg South Elementary participated in a hands-on assignment today on the parts and functions of a heart. Each of them got to see and feel real deer hearts as they measured, labeled and discussed the functions of a heart. Most were fully engaged!

All Muhlenberg County Schools will be closed tomorrow, February 17, and Monday, February 20, as indicated on the school calendar. Enjoy a long weekend!

It's National School Counseling Week and we are thankful for the work our counselors and psychologists do on a daily basis to help address mental health needs of our students while helping them achieve school success and plan for a career.
